I do think I have something to do say a bit about the battery grip. A battery grip is bigger, heavier and useless. It's a waste. Bigger: difficult to store in dry cabinet and camera bag. And this time around it'll be fully covered and Apr 5, 2017. I bought myself a Canon 5DMkIV the other day, replacing my beloved 5DMkII, for which I had bought two batteries. Since everyone says that the new model can use the old LP-E6 battery, of which I had two, I thought I would continue to use it, but I have found that when that battery is installed and I turn the camera on, nothing happens.
