Re: does a 5x114 fit on a 5x100 (hannibal) Post by garagelu » Thu Apr 12, 2007 5:35 am. they do make adapters from 5 x 114 to 5 x 100 or vice versa. Basically a spacer that converts the sizes. I think it would be more cost effective to just find a set of rims that fit your car because spacers can be fairly expensive. Top.

ET indicates the distance between the mounting surface and the geometric centre of the wheel (the symmetry axle), usually expressed in millimetres. When the ET value decreases, the alloy wheels will protrude further out. An increased ET value, on the other hand, results in moving the wheel location deeper into the wheel arch.
I tried and your right, usually the adapters are too thick. The thinnest 5x100 to 5x112 adapter I've found is 20mm. Subtract the thickness of the adapter from the wheel's et to find your working offset. If you're starting with the typical et32 to et35 5x112 wheel, and subtract out the 20mm adapter you get et12-15 which won't work. Demystify wheel bolt patterns like 5x112 and 5x100 with our guide.
